More about Patricia and her organizing background!
I grew up on a farm, so I know the value of hard work, but I also know how very important daily routines and systems are to being successful.
My Dad, who was very involved in our local Rotary group, came home one day during my junior year of high school and asked me if I wanted to be a Rotary Youth Exchange student. I said YES! Prior to spending a transformative year abroad in New Zealand during my senior year of high school, I had NEVER flown on an airplane before —but that experience ignited my love of travel and inspired a lifelong career in aviation.
After graduating, over the next three decades, I moved several times across the United States, guided consistently by the principles of the Rotary 4-Way Test. I embraced calculated risks and new challenges, honing the skills that defined my professional success. I’ve lived in diverse locations and spaces, including a tiny apartment in New York, as well as a very large home in the Midwest. I’ve even lived on a boat. All along the way, I’ve had a knack for making my home an organized, pleasant place to live - which I recognized affected my whole life - and my level of productivity and efficiency! I naturally started helping friends and was asked to become a professional home organizer to formally help people in need.
Now retired from the airline industry, I am a proud member of the Rotary Club (my Dad would be very proud!) and the owner of Organizing Life, where my team and I help bring order, clarity, and meaningful priorities to homes and lives. My team and I encourage the people we work with to focus on what truly matters—whether that’s creating space for family, pursuing long-delayed dreams, or finally tackling the items on their “bucket list.”
I travel to new corners of the world, sharing my Rotary story and my passion for exploration. I am dedicated to helping others—especially young women—by mentoring, encouraging personal growth, and inspiring them to seize opportunities, set intentional priorities, and enjoy the journey.
There is nothing that I love more than helping others, regardless of the task at hand - I'm a naturally caring person.
To help turn people's homes into a place where they can relax, and work more efficiently is very rewarding, and I consider myself lucky to have turned my hobby into a successful business that has deeply affected others.
Lastly, I am very understanding and do not pass any judgment based on the condition of your unorganized areas. I will never make you feel worse than you currently do, because I know where you are coming from. Everyone has different strengths! I have discovered that some of the most unorganized people are HIGHLY successful in other areas, and simply need to hire out the organization they need - so they can naturally focus on doing "their things" which, of course, will make them much happier.
In addition to being a professional home organizer for several years, recently my clients have asked me to shift my focus to a more personal approach (after we finish organizing their home) and I am now coaching several individuals to prioritize the important areas of their life to ensure happiness. This new area of focus for me has opened up a new division of my business,*Prioritizing Life! This highly sensitive, but extremely life changing area, is for serious individuals only and information is provided by request.
*I specialize in helping people create and action on their BUCKET LISTS. You will not regret prioritizing your life!
